Sixth arrest over Hyson Green car shooting

A sixth person has been arrested after shots were fired at a car in Nottingham.

The car was targeted at the junction of Birkin Avenue and Gregory Boulevard in Hyson Green at 17:15 BST on 30 April but nobody was injured.

A 22-year-old man was questioned on suspicion of assisting an offender and bailed pending further enquries.

A 21-year-old man, who was earlier detained on suspicion of attempted murder, has been bailed.

A 32-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender were also bailed.

Two other people questioned over the shooting were released without charge.
