Dogs saved in fire at Tolney Lane caravan park, Newark

A dog was given oxygen therapy and resuscitated by firefighters after a fire at a caravan park in Nottinghamshire.

Two other dogs were rescued but one died in the fire in Tolney Lane, Newark, at a static caravan site used by the traveller community.

The fire involved two caravans and one four-wheel drive vehicle.

About 10 people phoned to alert the fire service at about 14:20 BST on Sunday.

The fire service said no people were reported as being inside the caravans or vehicle.
