Carlton man charged with stabbing in Nottinghamshire
A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a 68-year-old man was stabbed at a property in Nottinghamshire on Monday.
The 40-year-old from Carlton is expected to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Officers said they were called to an address in Cliff Road at about 22:30 BST following reports of a stabbing.
The victim was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre where he remains in a critical condition.
Police said a cordon would remain at the address while forensic examinations were carried out.
