An 84-year-old man has died following a three-car crash in Nottinghamshire.
It happened on the A46 near Collingham, near Newark, at about 10:00 BST on Thursday.
The man, from Lincoln, was travelling in a Volkswagen when it collided with a Mazda and a Toyota. He was airlifted to hospital where he later died.
An 84-year-old woman, who is in a serious condition in hospital and a 54-year-old who is in a stable condition, were also in the Volkswagen.
Both women remain in hospital.
The driver of the Mazda was taken to Lincolnshire General Hospital. She suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured.
The road was closed northbound between the A1133 and the A1434 junctions. Traffic had to be diverted via the A1 and A57.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
