Nottingham police station petrol attack charge

A 17-year-old youth has been charged with riot and two counts of arson in relation to an attack on a Nottingham police station.

Petrol bombs were thrown at Canning Circus Police Station during the public disorder which took place in the city on 9 August 2011.

The youth, who cannot be named, was arrested in June.

He was charged earlier on Thursday and has been bailed to appear at Nottingham Youth Court on 1 October.
