Flooding disrupts travel in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire

Flood alerts are in place across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire as water levels remain high on the River Trent.

The Queens Drive Park and Ride in Nottingham is closed and there are problems on several roads including the A617 near Newark.

The Met Office said more rain was expected in the next few days.

The Dunham toll bridge on the A57 near Saxilby in Lincolnshire is closed because of flooding on the River Trent.

Roads are closed in many areas in Nottinghamshire, including Kelham, Bestwood, Shelford and Lowdham.

The A616 Worksop Road in Ollerton is also shut both ways at the junction with the A614 Blyth Road.
