Old Basford pub shooting: Seventh arrest made

A seventh arrest has been made over a shooting at a Nottingham pub.

A woman, 22, suffered a single gunshot wound when a weapon was fired into the rear garden of The Vernon pub, Old Basford, on 17 August.

She recovered after treatment in hospital. A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and was bailed.

Five men, aged 29, 27, 22, 23 and 38, and a woman, 20, have previously been arrested and bailed over the shooting.

The woman was treated at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre for a wound to her abdomen.

Police have appealed for anyone with further information to come forward.
