Man, 96, charged with murder of wife, 92, in Nottinghamshire


A 96-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murdering his 92-year-old wife.

Ernestine Tindall was found dead at the couple's home in Perlethorpe, Nottinghamshire, on 3 August.

Jack Tindall, of Tuxford Road, Boughton, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court earlier.

Mr Tindall was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at the same court on 9 June, Nottinghamshire Police said.
