Williamscot motorcycle crash victim is named

A man who died after his motorcycle was in collision with a car on an Oxfordshire road has been named.

Giles Rose, 43, of Kingsley Road in Northampton, crashed at about 2100 BST on Wednesday.

His Kawasaki ZX collided with a BMW 3 Series on the A361 near Williamscot, north of Banbury. The car driver was not injured.

Mr Rose was taken to the Horton General Hospital where he died. Thames Valley Police has issued a witness appeal.

An inquest at Oxfordshire Coroners Court was opened and adjourned on Thursday.
