Thieves who targeted a garage in Oxfordshire stole £7,600 worth of fuel from the business.

Police said 6,500 litres of diesel was taken from a tank on Station Road Garage in Shipton under Wychwood.

The theft took place between 2300 BST on Saturday and the early hours of Sunday, Thames Valley CID said.

Det Con Paddy O'Grady said: "This would have required a big vehicle to transport it and taken several hours to siphon off."
