Man in clear over Oxfordshire landlord's death


A man held on suspicion of killing a pub landlord will not face any charges.

Paramedics could not save Wayne Marshall, 42, after they were called to the The Crown Pub in High Street, Benson, Oxfordshire, on 27 June.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. He has now learned he will not face any charges.

Police said the case had been considered by the Crown Prosecution Service. The matter will now be passed to the Oxfordshire coroner.
