Man arrested after fatal M40 collision in Oxfordshire

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal crash on the M40 in Oxfordshire on Monday afternoon.

The 39-year-old, from Maidenhead, has been bailed until October.

A 55-year-old woman, from Flackwell Heath, was declared dead at the scene after a van and car crashed on the motorway.

Two men were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with minor injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses.
