Banbury woman charged with drugs offences

An Oxfordshire woman has appeared in court charged with attempting to smuggle almost £100,000 worth of drugs into the UK through Heathrow Airport.
Sarah Hughes, 32, of Samuelson Court, Banbury, was arrested on Sunday.
Officers allegedly found a large amount of cannabis and a small amount of heroin in her luggage.
Miss Hughes appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates charged with attempting to import controlled drugs and was remanded in custody until 7 September.
