Banbury bakery employee trapped in conveyor belt

A worker had to be cut free by firefighters after he became trapped in a conveyor belt at a bakery.

Crews were called to Fine Lady Bakery, in Banbury, Oxfordshire, at about 1600 BST.

The man, who was reported to be in severe pain, was treated by paramedics before he was taken to hospital.

Mark Ames, from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, said the man was extremely lucky to escape without serious injury.
