Oxfordshire man found guilty of 16 rapes against girls

A man from Oxfordshire has been found guilty of 16 rapes against young girls between the 1970s and 1990s.
George Thomas Prior, 64, from the Leys, Faringdon, who is also known as Fred Smith, was arrested on 13 April.
Prior was found guilty of 16 counts of raping girls under 16, one count of indecently assaulting a girl under 14, and one count of attempting a sex act.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Crown Court on 25 November for sentencing.
