Arson suspected after Banbury flat fire


An investigation is underway after fire broke out above a post office in Oxfordshire.

Firefighters were called to the flat above the Post Office in Orchard Way, Banbury, on Monday just after 1500 GMT.

Crews discovered a fire in the living room of the property which was extinguished after two hours.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said the fire may have been the result of an arson attack. Thames Valley Police are investigating.
