A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after they were hit by a lorry on the A40 in Oxfordshire.

The road was closed both ways between the B4449 and A44 Woodstock Road after the crash at about 0300 BST. The road has been reopened.

The pedestrian is in a stable condition in hospital.

Meanwhile a crash between a Ford KA and another lorry earlier blocked the A34 at the M40 near Weston-on-the-Green but this has now been cleared.
