Oxfordshire van and truck thefts linked by police

Police are linking a spate of vehicle thefts in north Oxfordshire.

The most recent theft was of a white Mercedes Sprinter Van from outside Astral House office block, off Launton Road, Bicester.

A white Peugeot Bipper van, a white Primastar van and a grey Nissan Navara pick-up truck have also been taken since 28 March.

Thames Valley Police said drivers of vans and trucks needed to be vigilant and make sure vehicles were secure.

The first three thefts happened at Bristol Street Motors in Banbury, Bicester Tyre and Exhaust Centre and in the village of North Aston, near Bicester.
