Youth dies as car and moped crash in Oxfordshire
A 16-year-old boy has died after a car collided with his moped in Oxfordshire.
Thames Valley Police said an Audi A6 collided with the stationary Aprilia bike in Clifton Road, near Deddington, at about 2100 BST on Friday.
The boy, from Kidlington, was taken to the Horton General Hospital in Banbury but died of his injuries.
The driver of the Audi, a 52-year-old man from Banbury, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The driver and his passenger were not hurt.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
