Motorcyclist dies in collision with car in Oxfordshire

A motorcyclist has been killed in a head-on collision with a car in Oxfordshire.

The victim was riding a Yamaha along the B4100 between Baynard's Green and Bicester when it was in collision with a Toyota Yaris.

The rider suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene on Monday, Thames Valley Police said.

The car driver was taken to Horton General Hospital for treatment to injuries to his head, arms and legs.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, which occurred near the Stoke Lyne Woods turning at 1920 BST, to come forward.
