Around 100 young people from Oxford are to join almost 100 from across Europe for a summer arts festival in the city.

Mesh is an event in July, organised by the Pegasus Theatre in partnership with the North Wall Arts Centre.

There will be performances at both venues, street shows, a costume parade and a finale at the Oxford Town Hall.

Participating groups will come from Leiden (Holland), Grenoble (France) and Perm (Russia) Bonn (Germany), Sisak (Croatia) and Gaza (Palestine).

Yasmin Sidhwa, Head of Creative Learning at Pegasus, said: "Mesh is an excellent opportunity for young people to exchange ideas, cultures and thinking about important issues that affect them."
