Two more arrests over Oxford stabbing

Two more men have been arrested over an attack in Oxford that left a man with five stab wounds.

The victim, a 33-year-old man, was repeatedly stabbed in the stomach during the attack in Balfour Road, Blackbird Leys, on 14 January.

A man, 23, was arrested earlier in Birmingham on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.

A 24-year-old from Oxford was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He has been bailed until 23 February.

One man, aged 20, has already been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Friday.
