Man 'seriously injured' in Witney attack

A 19-year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital following an attack in Oxfordshire in the early hours of Saturday.

Thames Valley Police were called to a fried chicken shop on Corn Street in Witney at about 01:20 BST.

The victim was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with "serious head injuries", police said.

Two men and a woman, all aged in their 20s, have been arrested on suspicion of assault.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
