Oxford job agency fire disrupts traffic

A fire at a recruitment agency in the centre of Oxford has caused disruption to traffic in the area.

Firefighters were called to the REED premises in the High Street at 10:41 BST and part of the road was shut.

The fire was confined to timbers and the wall cavity of the building. The cause is not yet known.

The recruitment firm said no-one was injured. The High Street was closed between Alfred Street and the A4158 Iffley Road while the fire was tackled.
