A man has denied murdering a grandmother at a residential caravan park in Oxfordshire.

Stewart Dale, of Prospect Park, Horspath, will go on trial in December accused of the murder of Jennifer Hume, 55, from Hamel Walk, Oxford.

Post-mortem examinations showed Ms Hume died from a blunt trauma head injury and suffered stab wounds on 18 May.

Mr Dale, 28, pleaded not guilty when he appeared at Oxford Crown Court and a trial date was fixed for 3 December.

The mother-of-three and grandmother-of-three was described as "devoted" in a statement issued by her family earlier in the year.
