Woman robs Oxford bookmakers with 'gun'
A woman has robbed a bookmakers in Oxford, telling a cashier she had a gun, police have said.
The robber, whose face was covered with a black scarf, handed a plastic bag to the male member of staff at BetFred in Headington on Friday night.
The man, in his 20s, filled the bag with cash. No weapon was produced and no-one was hurt.
Thames Valley Police said a man and a woman, both aged 43, had been arrested and were in custody.
The robber, who entered the shop Cinnaminta Road, at about 21:00 BST, is described as being of mixed race and wearing a green top.
Detectives are appealing for information.
