Oxfordshire car driver, 85, dies in two-lorry crash

An 85-year-old man has died in a crash involving two lorries and a car in Oxfordshire.

The accident happened at about 07:00 GMT on the eastbound carriageway of the A420 near Faringdon.

Thames Valley Police said the driver of the car, who lived near Wantage, was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin had been informed.

The road was closed in both directions for several hours after the accident, causing long delays.
