Police divers are searching a lake in Shropshire for the body of a best man who went for a late-night swim.
Other guests at the wedding raised the alarm after the man, from Dudley, was seen swimming in a lake at Patshull Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club.
Emergency services were called to the site in Pattingham, near Wolverhampton, at about 2315 BST on Friday.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said helicopters and fire and rescue boats had been involved in the search.
The ambulance service said they were stood down at about 0350 BST on Saturday.
Staffordshire Police said the man they were searching for was in his late 20s.
Hotel general manager Stephen Kimbell said the missing man had been best man at a wedding earlier in the day and was with other guests at the reception at the hotel.
He said: "He voluntarily went for a swim about 100 yards or so into the lake.
"Other guests realised he could be in trouble and were checking around near the banks. That was about 20 minutes after he left for a swim."
