Quad bike pair injured in Telford crash


A man and a boy on a quad bike suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a car in Telford.

The man, believed to be in his 40s, and the boy, thought to be aged 12, were on a quad bike on a road on Halesfield Industrial Estate.

The man was left with serious leg injuries and suspected head and chest injuries in the incident on Sunday evening.

The boy has serious leg injuries and also a head laceration.

The pair were taken to Princess Royal Hospital.

The driver of the car did not need treatment in hospital following the incident, which happened at about 2115 BST.
