Woman hurt in Oswestry pub 'glass attack'

A woman suffered facial injuries when she was attacked by another woman on a dance floor at a Shropshire pub.

The police said the victim may have been struck with a glass following an argument early on Sunday morning at The Boar's Head Inn in Oswestry.

Detectives at West Mercia Police are trying to trace the attacker who was thrown out by door staff.

A police spokesman said the pub was very busy at the time and urged anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
