An underwater search team is continuing to look for a best man who has not been seen since taking a late-night swim at a Shropshire wedding reception.
Police have said the man they are looking for is Patrick Cody, 26, from Dudley, West Midlands.
Guests called emergency services after Mr Cody failed to return from his lake dip at Patshull Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club on Friday.
His family said he was just about to begin a teacher-training course.
Mr Patrick had graduated from Keele University in Staffordshire and was about to go back to university in Birmingham.
His family said he was a friendly, popular and much loved son, brother and friend.
"He had a passion for music, literature and sport and a lively sense of humour," they said in a statement.
Mr Patrick went missing just after 2300 BST on Friday.
The search team, from Nottingham, is using specialist equipment at the lake.
Hotel general manager Stephen Kimbell earlier said the missing man had been best man at a wedding earlier in the day and was with other guests at the reception.
He said: "He voluntarily went for a swim about 100 yards or so into the lake.
"Other guests realised he could be in trouble and were checking around near the banks. That was about 20 minutes after he left for a swim."
