A 40-year-old woman has admitted stealing more than £19,000 from a Shropshire charity.
Louise Charlotte Stokes, of Park Road, Whitchurch, transferred the money to her account when she was chief officer of North Shropshire Voluntary Action.
The charity, which supported small community groups and volunteers, went into administration last year.
At Shrewsbury Crown Court, Stokes admitted two counts of fraud by abusing her position between 2007 and 2009.
The case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports to be drawn up and Stokes was released on conditional bail.
The Charity Commission said in June 2009 that was investigating financial problems at the North Shropshire Voluntary Action.
It had received a complaint from the charity and it passed the complaint on to police.
