Police name motorcyclist killed in Uffington crash

A motorcyclist who was killed in a collision involving three cars in Shropshire has been named by police.

Adrian Jones, 34, of Newport, was involved in a crash on the B5062 at Uffington about 2120 BST on Sunday.

Mr Jones was riding his Suzuki motorcycle in the opposite direction to three cars involved in the incident. Two drivers were slightly injured.

An inquest is expected to open later this week or next week. Shropshire Police have appealed for witnesses.

Another man died earlier on Sunday when his motorcycle hit a tree on the A483 near Mile End service station at Oswestry.
