Two men arrested in Telford murder investigation

Two men have been arrested after the body of a man was found at a property in Shropshire.

The body of the 31-year-old man from Telford was found at a house in Farm Lodge Grove on Friday evening.

Det Chf Insp Neil Jamieson said: "We are treating this as murder investigation. Two men also from the Telford area are currently in police custody."

A post-mortem examination is to be carried out on the body later.

The coroner for the area has been informed. The dead man has not yet been formally identified.

West Mercia Police officers have until Monday evening to question the men after being granted an extension by a magistrate.

The property is cordoned off while forensic officers work at the scene.
