Telford primary school in centenary event

A Shropshire primary school has held its 100th birthday celebration after inviting former pupils and staff.

One hundred and twenty guests were invited to Wombridge Primary School, Hartshill, Oakengates, Telford.

A tour, a special assembly and tea and cakes for those coming back were planned.

Classes at the school have contributed to a display running down a corridor representing each decade of the past 100 years.
