Shropshire gritters working round the clock

  • Published

Gritters in some areas of Shropshire have been working around the clock to keep the roads passable.

One worker told BBC Radio Shropshire he did a 24-hour shift in Bridgnorth over the weekend, and will be out again on Tuesday morning.

London Midland trains has said its services are likely to be affected by delays due to the freezing conditions.

And the Met Office has issued warnings of icy roads and heavy snow in the country for the next few days.
