Murder arrest after body found in Leegomery house

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of another man was found at a house in Shropshire.
Police said officers were alerted by a member of the the public to a broken window at the home in Halifax Drive, Leegomery, at 0415 GMT on Tuesday.
The body of a man, in his late 50s, was discovered inside. Neighbours said the unidentified man was disabled and used a wheelchair.
Officers arrested a man, aged in his early 50s, at the scene.
House sealed off
Det Insp Nick Haggitt, of West Mercia Police, said it was not yet known how the man died.
He said the house would be sealed off for most of the day while forensic investigations were carried out.
"We are currently carrying out house-to-house inquiries in the local area and community support officers will also be on hand to provide reassurance to the community.
"The investigation is at an early stage and at this time we do not know how this man died."
Anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious in Halifax Drive has been urged to contact police.
