Several flood warnings for the River Severn in Shropshire have been downgraded, the Environment Agency says.

Warnings were issued for Bridgnorth, Hampton Loade, Highley and Quatford, Ironbridge and Jackfield and The Quarry, in Shrewsbury.

River levels have been receding and the agency has removed the warnings or downgraded them to flood alerts.

Water levels peaked in Bridgnorth on Tuesday night.
