Work after £250K charity donation in Shropshire

Trustees are being appointed to decide how best to use £250,000 to help elderly people in Shropshire.

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust made the contribution to the Much Wenlock area after it sold the Lady Forester nursing home to English Care.

It agreed to provide the money in recognition of cash raised by the community to save the home.

The money will be managed by the newly-formed Much Wenlock Forester Charitable Trust.
