Threats charge after shots fired at Telford house

A man has been charged with making threats to kill in Shropshire.

The man, in his 20s, is also charged with intimidation of a witness or juror, West Mercia Police said.

At least four shots were fired at a house in Leicester Way, Leegomery, Telford, shortly after midnight on Saturday, police said.

Two bullets have been found and sent away for analysis. Officers are seeking a silver hatchback car thought to have been used during the incident.

A force spokesman said the incident was believed to be linked to "an historic assault".

Two other men arrested on Saturday have been released on bail.
