Oswestry man Brian Woodmass will stand trial for murder

A Shropshire man is due to stand trial for the murder of a woman at a home in Oswestry.

Jill Louise Nevitt's body was found at an address in Orchard Street in the town on 14 December 2010.

Brian Woodmass, 59, of the same address, pleaded not guilty to murdering Ms Nevitt when he appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court on 17 June.

Mr Woodmass, who was remanded into custody, will go on trial on 21 November at Stafford Crown Court.
