Cannabis plants found in Wellington house

At least 100 cannabis plants were found by police when they raided a house in Shropshire.

Officers discovered a "sophisticated nursery set-up" in the upstairs bedrooms of a terraced house in Watling Street, Wellington, on Thursday morning. No arrests have been made.

Insp Richard Langton said he was pleased with what they found as a result of tip-offs.

But he added it was a small part of a much wider drugs business in the area.
