Tern Valley Business Park expansion job hopes

The expansion of a business park in Shropshire could create more than 600 jobs, according to a council.

Shropshire Council has signed a contract with a Shrewsbury company to develop the Tern Valley Business Park in Market Drayton.

The council has already spent £4m developing the park, including putting in a new road and superfast broadband.

Councillor Steve Charmley said: "We hope this will help to create hundreds of jobs in Market Drayton."

He said the investment showed the council's commitment to stimulating jobs and business "particularly in our market towns".
