CCTV pictures of a man who robbed a Shropshire supermarket with a gun have been released by police.

The thief ducked under the shutters at Nisa on Queensway Drive in Bridgnorth as staff were shutting the store at 21:00 GMT on 23 February.

West Mercia Police said he forced two workers to empty the till before locking them in a back room. He escaped with about £200.

The staff were left "very shaken" but were uninjured, police said.

A spokesman for the force said: "If anyone can identify this man, or recognises the scarf that is covering his face, we would ask them to contact us immediately.

"We are very keen to find the Nisa shopping bag the money was handed over to the offender in, because, if this has been discarded nearby, it could provide us with vital evidence."
