Three hurt in Bomere Heath stabbing incident

Three people have been seriously hurt in a stabbing near Shrewsbury.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing outside a premises on Sefton Drive in Bomere Heath on Wednesday morning.

The ambulance service said a middle aged woman was found outside a property with a wound to her chest.

A middle aged man inside the property had suffered multiple stab wounds and an elderly woman had a serious head injury.

A nearby shop was also closed off.

Witnesses who at a nearby bus stop said the shop was closed shortly after 08:00 when an injured woman came in.

All the injured have been taken to hospital. Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
