M5 partially reopened after crash in Somerset

The M5 has been partially reopened in Somerset following a collision involving up to five vehicles.

The crash happened on the southbound carriageway but both sides were initially shut to allow an air ambulance to land.

There were long queues stretching back from junction 26 for Wellington in both directions.

The motorway has been reopened northbound and traffic travelling south is moving along the hard shoulder.
