Hovercraft is used in mud rescue near Weston-super-Mare

Firefighters have rescued a man who had become stuck on mudflats near Weston-super-Mare.
Emergency services were called to the beach near Uphill just after 0700 BST on Saturday.
An Avon Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said its hovercraft was launched.
"The man was safely brought to shore and handed to the ambulance service for a precautionary check up," the spokesman added.
