Internet access at Somerset libraries down after flood

  • Published

Public internet access for library users in Somerset is still down after being knocked out by a minor flood.

Internet access went off after an air conditioning unit flooded on Tuesday affecting the router in the server room at the headquarters in Bridgwater.

A county council spokeswoman initially said the service had been restored, but that later proved to be incorrect.

She added work was ongoing to restore public access to the county's 36 libraries.
