Bridgwater landlord finds 'cannabis factory'

More than 470 plants, thought to be cannabis, have been seized by police at a house in Somerset.

Police went to the house in St Mary's Close, Bridgwater, following a call from the landlord.

Officers also found a number of bin bags full of what was believed to be dried cannabis leaves.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the production of cannabis and charged with the cultivation of a Class B drug.

Police are still searching for the tenant who is thought to have left the house when the landlord arrived.
