Wells armed siege leads to man being charged

Police have charged a man following an armed siege in Wells in Somerset on Wednesday.
Robert Kenney, 46, from Wells, has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and criminal damage.
Armed officers had to seal off the High Street in the city centre for several hours.
Mr Kenney has been bailed and is due to appear at South Somerset Magistrates' Court on 4 November.
